As a result of a request from the audit committee, the company was in need of developing a risk agenda to increase granularity around operational challenges and more visibility on mitigation measures.

As the automotive industry was experiencing a deep transformation, there were emerging trends that needed to be strategized and assessed (ESG, nearshoring, electric mobility, others)

Panorama advised the internal control department in building a comprehensive risk agenda that covered 12 production plants and 2 business units.
Results

Months after concluding our work, the company was able to proactively anticipate a labor dispute that erupted in one of its plants and was able to quickly respond to this challenge. In early 2023, the company contacted Panorama to develop a formal ERM policy which will allow institutionalize risk management practice across its operations.
